Since 2017 has now come to an end I thought it’s time for me to share with you my favourite beauty products from last year. I hope you’ll enjoy reading…
Vera Wang ‘Princess’ Perfume – $35
I really love the scent of this perfume as it smells very girly and has a slightly sweet scent to it. A little goes a long way for this perfume as I can often smell remains of the scent after having a shower which is something I really like.
Kat Von D Matte Liquid Lipsticks – $30
This liquid lipstick pictured above is a mini size in the shade ‘Lolita’. I received it from Sephora as a free gift to my purchase several months ago and I’ve loved it. It lasts a really long time and to my surprise this reddy colour actually suits my skin tone! It is a little expensive for a full sized product but I would be happy to buy it again as I think it is a really good product. Also is not very drying on your lips considering it is a Matte Lipstick.
Sportsgirl Matte Lipsticks – $9.95
Once again another Matte Lipstick which also is not drying to your lips! I also really liked Sportsgirls glossy lipsticks but I wanted to share with you the matte ones in particular as I was surprised at how moisturising they felt considering they were a matte lipstick.
Cover Girl Full Lash Bloom Mascara – $17.95
I reviewed this mascara many months ago in a post called ‘Collective Beauty Haul and Review’. I really like how this mascara is build-able and I think it is a great one for a beginner and/or an intermediate at using makeup.
Sally Hansen Complete Manicure Nail Polish – $14.95
Being an apprentice pastry chef means that I haven’t been able to paint my nails most the year. So every time I’ve had a chance to paint my nails it has always been with this nail polish. It lasts a lot longer than most polishes and I love the light purple, lavendery colour of this polish in particular although Sally does have many other colours to chose from as well.
I’d love to know what your favourite beauty products were from last year?
