The Simple Things – Part 6

Hey guys!  As many of you may know I started this series called ‘The Simple Things’ on my blog just over two months ago and I’ve really enjoyed it.  Although I’ve been enjoying it I think I’m going to stop and/or pause this series for a while.  I don’t really have a reason other than I just want to.  I will continue to write down things that I am grateful for but I will just be doing it personally for now.  So I hope you all enjoy reading the last post in this series…

October 5 – Thank you all so much for helping me to surpass over 1,500 followers today!

October 6 – I loved eating lunch outside in the nice, warm sunshine with my family.

October 7 – This green tea is so good!  I’ve had it every day for a couple weeks now.

October 8 – Isaiah 43:10-12 says… ”You are my witness,’ declares the Lord, ‘and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.  Before me no God was formed, nor will there be one after me.  I, even I, am the Lord and apart from me there is no saviour.  I have revealed and saved and proclaimed – I am not some foreign God among you.  You are my witness’, declares the Lord, ‘that I am God.’

October 9 – Watching the Hobbit with my friends today was very fun.

October 10 – My friends and I went to bounce today so that was super cool!

October 11 – The freedom we have in Christ is amazing!

What’s something you’ve been enjoying over the past week?

Many Blessings, Grace.

Thankful I can live independently and enjoy all the simple joys life has to offer. Often people are so busy complaining, they forget to be grateful and take for granted all the good Lord has bestowed upon us during our journey here on Earth.

Love this series! It’ll be Thanksgiving soon, and I love to remind myself of why things are important to me each day, so I’m hoping to do my next 30 Day Challenge similar to this where I write down one thing I’m thankful for each day. If I had to write one today, it’d be how amazingly supportive my family is when I need them. ❤️🤗

I totally understand stopping and/or pausing. Sometimes you just need to do it on your own for a while without having to let everyone know. I respect and appreciate you taking the time to explain though 😊 I have actually been enjoying a lot, mostly time with scripture and prayer. It’s great to inspire others but much better is ensuring you are constantly being fed and watered yourself to grow spiritually. That helps strengthen you to come back and do more.

Having my aunt here from a different country. Didn’t think I’d get the chance to see her again. I’m also enjoying watching the leaves change colour here in Canada. Love this post, being grateful really puts it into perspective that we have so many blessings, even when it initially doesn’t feel like it. Felt happier & lighter after reading your post. Thank you!
