Rainbow Cookies!

My little brother came up to me a few days ago and asked me if we could make colourful cookies together.  So we did and they turned out really well.  We decided to make them again to take pictures so we could share them with you guys.  I hope you enjoy…

1/2 cup castor sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
125g butter, at room temperature
1 egg
1 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup white choc chips
100’s and 1,000’s

1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (356°F).  Line baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
2. Place the butter, sugars and egg together in a bowl and beat together until light and creamy.
3. Mix in the flour.  Then fold through the chocolate chips and sprinkles to your hearts desire.

4. Place tablespoons of the mixture onto the baking trays about 10-15 cm apart.  Bake in the oven for 12-14 minutes or until slightly golden brown.  Leave them to sit on the tray for about ten minutes to cool before transferring them and enjoy!

What’s your favourite cookie?

Many Blessings, Grace.

  1. Yas Girl!!! That magical combination of half and half sugars. I know we’ve talked about this before but it’s so good to see baked goods with this perfect little secret that makes every cookie taste like heaven.
