A week ago I shared with you guys things that I was grateful for every day of the week in my post called ‘The Simple Things’. I think I will be turning this post into a series for a while so you can just keep expecting me to share with all you things that I have been grateful for…
August 8 – Today I found quite a few new songs that I really like and I’m sure I’ll share them with you all in the future so look forward to that.
August 9 – Today I was really enjoying catching up on all of Maggie’s post’s I missed whilst being in Africa. I definitely recommend you checking out her blog!
August 10 – I’m really grateful for each one of my friends!
August 11 – Being one of four kids it is very rare for me to have one on one time with my Mum. I am very thankful for today because I got to spend quality time with just me and my Mum as we were going to the shops.
August 12 – A few of you might think this is weird but vacuuming my room! I’m not really sure why I like vacuuming so much but I find it very relaxing and it’s also a perfect opportunity for me to listen to some of my favourite songs.
August 13 – I’ve been loving this song, He Knows by Jeremy Camp. It has been very encouraging to me over the past couple days.
August 14 – James 5:7-11 ‘Be patient then brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!
Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.’
What is something you have been grateful for over the past week?
Many Blessings, Grace.
Art. These last few days I’ve been drawing a lot and it is so relaxing and quite fun as well.

Beautiful list, Grace! 💖 I can’t wait to see your new list of songs 😀 I need to make an updated ‘favorite songs playlist’ – it has been months since I posted one! Girl I’ve loved catching up on your blog posts, too 😊❤️ Reading lots of one blogger’s posts is so much fun! Also, I can relate to the one for August 11th; it’s rare that I have one-on-one time with my mom because of how many siblings I have, so I cherish it when we get to spend time together! ☺️❤️

Aww, thanks Maggie! I look forward to seeing a ‘favourite song playlist’ from you if you get around to it. Yeah, quality time with my Mum is something I cherish very much too. Thank you for reading too! ❤️

Today, I’m thankful for my one on one time with my sweet friend. I’m hanging out with her while she has her doctor appointment. We have time to visit and catch up on things since the drive is an hour there and back. We are both so busy other times, this gives us quality time to be together. I don’t mind the wait. This gives me time to catch up on reading or whatever. So today, thankful for friend time.😳

I am grateful for my 3 year old finally being “potty trained”. Only a few accidents this week! I am also grateful for amazing books, and the time to read, of course. Thanks for stopping by my book blog earlier, and keep focusing on the things that make you happy!

As we wait for the movers to come with our stuff next week, I’ve borrowed my mom’s crock/slow cooker. Last night, I made pulled pork sandwiches, and I was grateful for family to help us out when we need it.

Basically you just cut and paste my link over the text you want to link it to. I hope that made sense?
