What I Do At TAFE (Pastry Chef)

Hey Guys,

Today I’m going to be sharing with you some products that I made from my first term at TAFE as I’ve had quite a few people interested in this topic.  This term was all about pastry hence each item features pastry.

I’m currently studying to become a pastry chef.  Hopefully this will give you a little more insight as to what I do at TAFE for those of you that were interested.

I’m also very sorry for the poor quality photos as these where all taken on my iPod in the middle of class, (cringe).  I will try and make an effort to take better photos next time so I can do another post like this next term but better.

Fruit flan.

Vegetable pasties.

Sausage rolls.

This is a picture of everything I made on my test out.  Each of us had five hours to make 6 custard tarts, 12 matches, 2 quiche loraines, 3 apple pies and 6 apple turnovers.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post.  Feel free to leave comments and questions relating to this post down below.

Many Blessings, Grace.

  1. Okay, I make apple pies very often because I love baking and because everyone loves them (seriously not trying to brag… they are good though 😉 ) and apple pies are so stressful to make. I am just going to say as well as everything else only having 5 hours… GOOD JOB! and they all look AMAZING!

  4. OMG, I can’t believe that I found you on WordPress! I am probably going to study a pastry course at Tafe Brisbane next year. Which Tafe are you studying at?
